Chilhowee Oktoberfest will be October 16-18, 2009. Ed Kilbourne will be singing for us again. Come see the people, the gliders, and the fall colors. Join us for great dinners and entertainment under our historic barn. This will be a great time for everybody!

GTA Glider Race
The GTA Glider Race will be held here with special emphasis for beginning cross-country pilots and racers. Gary Carter will be conducting a pilots meeting and lead and follow Friday, then Saturday evening Francois Pin will be giving his cross-country lecture. Come fly, watch, and learn.
Saturday: By afternoon soaring conditions improved with thermal activity attested to by the many solo and instructional flights already in progress....(pics are linked for viewing at full size) .
